Dave Kerr was a grade 8 teacher in 1960-1961.  In 1961-1962, he was the Vice-Principal of the Elementary School under principal Jack Harris.  He became Superintendent of DND schools in Europe 1962-1963.

Dave came back to Canada and was a principal in Niagara Falls in 1963-1970. He became an Education Officer with the ministry for the North East Region of Ontario and he and his wife Jean lived south of North Bay.  Dave remembered his years in France and the people he and his wife Jean met with great fondness.
