oAuth 2.0 Migration in Jira Cloud
We are excited to announce that our app now transitioned from OAuth 1.0 to OAuth 2.0 for all our Jira Cloud users!
OAuth 2.0 is the updated version of the OAuth protocol, offering a more streamlined, secure, and flexible framework for authorization.
This transition means improved security for your data and credentials, thanks to OAuth 2.0's robust features, including the use of short-lived access tokens and long-lived refresh tokens. You will now use a new authentication screen when you log in to Jira Cloud.
All our Jira Cloud users can now log in with just a click of a button.
If you use Jira Server or Jira Data Center, you'll still need to enter your Host URL when you authorize in the platform.
Moreover, all of our dashboards that fetch data from Jira will be updated in real-time, instead of fetching data once per hour!
